Today's teenagers are busier than ever before. Unlike their parents, today's teen has to manage schoolwork, sports, binge drinking, church functions, drug use, volunteering at the homeless shelter, plotting to kill classmates, and petty shoplifting-all at the same time!

Because teens have so much to do these days, the quality and quantity of angst-ridden teenage poetry has fallen dramatically.
